This is my official CNY Day 1 nails.haha, I managed to be quite itchy hand and painted the gold flakes on while I was reorganizing my nail polishes.
The gold flakes nail polish is very cheap, at $2 from Daiso. It's very dense, dries fast enough. I find it pretty good quality. I want to buy more!!!
The other time, I picked up the red, green and blue ones too, then I saw how many items there were in my basket, and put them all back, leaving only this gold one intended for CNY. haha.
Anyway, while going through my polishes, I got a little stunned at the bottles I racked up in just one month... ...
All of a sudden, the not-so-nail-crazy me managed to expand my tiny collection by a crazy bit.
hahaha. I have no idea why I am more excited about Sephora than OPI. But it's a wonder how I managed to resist the temptation of these babies and not post about them. These were gotten at a mere $7 wholesale price from China.
Is it real? Yes. There are ball bearings inside. And by the quality of it when using, it is top grade. The brush, the colour, the instant dry... ... Only Baby Blue is fake I think (got cheated by the China girl). The quality of that pain is horrible. A Peony For Your Thoughts good!!! I love that on my toe nails because it's so dark.
And OPI has an inborn reflective gloss, it doesn't needs top coat at all. But I still do it for extra protection rather than to give the gloss though.
The famous 3 I have been blogging about, from Sephora in Gothic, Disco and Zouk ($8/ea, bought during Buy 2 Get 1 Free)Couldn't help it, because at $2.50 a bottle, it's only a tad more expensive than Rainbow. OOPS. lol. I thought I promised myself not to buy polishes less than $5 after I found Sally Hansen. :P Maybe I am still secretly harbouring the hope that there can be good nail polishes for less than $5??? Rainbow is one of them, and by far the only one that I've come across that is good for only $2.
Random drugstore polishes, Silkygirl Shimmering Copper (disc 20%), Sally Hansen Insta-dri in 08 Espresso ($11.90 disc 20%), Rimmel London Lycra Pro in 293 Pop Rose ($6.90 disc 20%), Canmake No. 51 (GWP):P The power of discounts.
Random other beauty stores polishes, Rainbow Nail Enamel No. 64 (cheap & good $2), Nail Polish Metro No. 702 (trying out, only $4.90), Korean brand (tested not bad, so bought it at $2).I feel that I am quite a fan of Nature Republic right now. Like it so much better than The Face Shop, Skin Food and Etude House.
This is the gold glitter from Daiso. And the 3D Art Pen. The tube in the middle is cuticle care oil from Muji.I think the cuticle oil from Muji looks really good, so I bought it. Very cheap considering I got a Dead Sea Almond Cuticle Oil for like don't know how many times the price of Muji. The only difference is that Muji does not contain dead sea minerals. Otherwise, the ingredients look really good.
The other one, (red colour I think), is not that good. It has more chemical ingredients. This purple one has all the natural stuff that people like. I have not tried it though.
haha, not a lot. But definitely enough for me to review one every 2 weeks! Goodness. All the discounts are really making me buy.
I think my resolution for CNY should be to stop succumbing to discounts. Yes, stop!
